In senior year, I branched out into more opinion-based writing and media on the web. With my friend Zach Khouri, I created a five-part podcast series reading classic short horror stories and discussing their significance in the modern day. Expanding my digital toolkit to include audio editing and publishing has been a challenging but rewarding experience.

Over the past year, I have tried to expand Scot Scoop's multimedia coverage by assembling graphics/multimedia packages to cover timely national stories that affect our local community. With the help of other writers and editors, we have informed our readers about issues such as the impact of the Kincade fires and how to vote on Super Tuesday. I was able to organize and publish this work thanks to the help of SNO's WordPress Page Builder.
In addition to these graphics packages, I also organized a team to cover the initial stories about the coronavirus outbreak in January. We assembled facts and graphics about the coronavirus' symptoms and spread, and regularly updated the numbers. However, as it became clear that this would become a much longer story, and that our initial angle didn't encompass the reality of the situation, we moved coverage of the coronavirus pandemic onto a separate page on Scot Scoop. I became one of the joint editors for the page, and have edited and contributed graphics to the page.
